Never Visited Before?

We would love for you to be our guest at GRMBC! Below are links that will help you before and after your first few visits.

  • Looking to visit? Below are our service times and a brief description of what will be happening in each service.

  • Here are a few tips that make your time as a guest more meaningful.

Guests are always welcome at GRMBC!

We strive to create an environment where you will feel comfortable, welcome, and engaged. Here are a few suggestions to make your first time more enjoyable:

  • Come to the front door - We've got greeters stationed at the door to help you find your way. They'll get you to your Sunday School classes, help you find a seat, or direct you to the nursery. That's why they're there, so ask!

  • Come for Sunday School - You'll walk out with a new friend, and someone to sit with! We've got a class for any age, and your chances of forming a relationship will skyrocket.

  • Bring a Bible - Scripture will be on the screen in the sanctuary, but nothing will beat having a copy of the Bible in your lap. You may also want to bring a notepad or journal if you are a note taker.

  • Open your mind - We all have preferences, and that is fine! However, we are created to glorify God. We pray that you get something from the songs, the prayers, and the sermon... but that is not the point. Church is an opportunity to give something to God. Look for ways to give, and don't worry so much about what you'll get!

  • Fill out the pew card - No one will show up unannounced, promise! This is a record for us that you visited. It also gives us a chance to email, call, or send a card to say, "Thanks!" The pastor will probably write or call to see if you have any questions. If you give your pew card to the pastor on your first visit, you get a family "swag bag" full of goodies to let you know that we appreciate your visit.

Still have questions? Call our office at 270.465.6032 and we'll be glad to answer them.

We offer several times and formats to worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in a corporate setting.

  • Sunday School - 10 AM - This small group setting provides a great mix of fellowship, basic information, and advanced discussion. Each class makes an effort to reach out to new friends, care for current members, and have a little fun together. Drop in at the front door and a greeter will be glad to show you to a class that will encourage you in your journey.

  • Sunday Morning Worship - 11 AM - Singing, prayers, worship through tithes, and a sermon born from Scripture - this is probably what you picture in your mind when you think about coming to church... but we think you'll find a refreshing mix of old and new that is the signature style of GRMBC.

  • Sunday Evening Bible Study - 6:30 PM - This is the study of the scripture, plain and simple. A much more personal, engaging format than Sunday mornings with a greater emphasis on understanding the nuance that exists when we break open the Bible. Bring a Bible and a pen - listening sheets are usually provided.

Wednesday Night Study/Youth/LITTLE FISH/BIG FISH - Wednesdays, 6:30 PM - Our most eclectic mix of services, Wednesday night is a three-ring circus with something for everyone. Kids and youth start off the night with a meal at 6:30. From there, preschool, K-6, and Youth break up and investigate how they fit into the story God is telling. Adults have a week-based program of varied activities:

    • 1st Wednesday, a night of prayer (room 5)

    • 2nd Wednesday, business meeting (room 5)

    • 3rd Wednesday, a night of prayer (room 5)

    • 4th Wednesday, Missions (room 5)

    • 5th Wednesday, topical study (room 5)

Frequently Asked Questions

We've tried to anticipate some commonly asked questions below. If you don't find the answer you're looking for, ask us through the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Q) What do I wear?

A) Don't worry about it. Some come in suits, some in shorts and flip-flops. We're more concerned with your presence than your attire.

Q) What else should I bring?

A) A friend, a Bible (wifi is available in most of the building if you prefer smart devices), and an open mind. We collect offering on Sunday mornings, and we take seriously the biblical admonition from Deuteronomy 16:16.

Q) Do you use a particular translation of the Bible?

A) We project most of the scripture for Sunday Morning worship for your convenience. We HIGHLY recommend that you still bring a Bible of your choosing. Preaching comes primarily from the ESV (English Standard Version) scripture, but it is your preference. If you're having trouble picking a version, try this tool to help!

Q) How does your church approach worship and music?

A) If you're asking this question, you're probably an experienced church goer who has already formed a preference. You deserve an honest, frank answer - so here it is. We classify ourselves as "contemporized," not contemporary. Most of what we sing would be found in a hymnal, but in a contemporary arrangement. There modern worship songs included in most services. We seek to preserve the beauty and heritage that hymns bring while following Psalm 96:1 to incorporatevariety as we worship.

Q) I have a question about the cemetery. Who do I talk to?

A) While management of the cemetery is done through the church, the church and cemetery are two separate entities. email or call 270-465-6032 to ask your questions and they will be directed to the right people.
