We’ve tried to anticipate some commonly asked questions below. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, ask us through the contact form at the bottom of the page.
Q) What do I wear?
A) Don’t worry about it. Some come in suits, some in shorts and flip-flops. We’re more concerned with your presence than your attire.
Q) What else should I bring?
A) A friend, a Bible (wifi is available in most of the building if you prefer smart devices), and an open mind. We collect offering on Sunday mornings, and we take seriously the biblical admonition from Deuteronomy 16:16.
Q) Do you use a particular translation of the Bible?
A) We project most of the scripture for Sunday Morning worship for your convenience. We HIGHLY recommend that you still bring a Bible of your choosing. Preaching comes primarily from NIV or ESV scripture, but it is your preference. If you’re having trouble picking a version, try this tool to help!
Q) How does your church approach worship and music?
A) If you’re asking this question, you’re probably an experienced church goer who has already formed a preference. You deserve an honest, frank answer – so here it is. We classify ourselves as “contemporized,” not contemporary. Most of what we sing would be found in a hymnal, but in a contemporary arrangement. There are one or two modern worship songs included in most services. We seek to preserve the beauty and heritage that hymns bring while following Psalm 96:1 to incorporate as much variety as we can in our worship.
Q) I have a question about the cemetery. Who do I talk to?
A) While management of the cemetery is done through the church, the church and cemetery are two separate entities. Use the form at the bottom to ask your questions and they will be directed to the right people.
